Long Bows

We build takedown longbows in basically 2 designs:

    1) Traditional - Has only a slight amount of curve built into the limb end.  Once strung, the limbs have the look of a typical English longbow with that nice even arc.  They shoot smooth and true but usually have slightly less performance than the reflex deflex design.

    2) Reflex Deflex - Has more curve baked into the ends of the limbs.  Almost looks like a big recurve bow when it is unstrung.  Once strung, the limbs tend to point more than an English longbow.   The reflex deflex design is a very high performance design that, pound for pound, will cast an arrow faster and further.

1) Zebra, Sedua, and Maple riser. Bamboo limbs with Zebra wedges and shedua tips.

2) Cocobolo, Wenge and Walnut riser with red glass stripes.  Walnut limbs with Cocobolo wedges and tips.

3) Purple Heart, Mahogany and Birds Eye Maple riser.  Birds Eye limbs and wedges with Purple Heart tips.

4) Purple Heart, Wenge and Walnut riser.  Bamboo limbs with Purple Heart wedges and tips.

5) Walnut and Red Heart riser with Wenge stripes.  Walnut limbs with Red Heart wedges and tips.

Due to demand, we are not making one piece longbows at this time.  If you have your heart set on one and would like one of ours, please email with your wishes and we'll get right back to you with a quote.
